I got my radio amateur license in January 2026. I was very young when I first got into radio waves. Radio, electronics and computers were everything to me as a 12-16 year old.. then the waves found other things.. Girls, Cars, Work so it would be almost 40 years before the waves came back and I am back on the bands. license had to be taken again and here I am.
I live a little bit outside Oslo. At an altitude of around 140 meters above sea level in a house with a small garden all filled with antennas and the house with radios Me and my dog.
I am most happy with HF Bands, high bands on 10, 6 meters are very fun. I am on SSB, FT 8 and try to fix the rusty CW experiences,
but it will take a while for it to come back completely.
But i love CW, the hunting… So hope it will come back fast.
